I have chosen to study Computer Science because I was always attracted by what is “hidden” behind technological development and afferent governing principles. Since Computer Science Engineering impacts a wide range of fields which span across multiple disciplines and domains, it is important to understand the existent connections with these in what regards a) mathematical background and b) legal/standardized support for Information Technology management. I have expanded the expertise in fields that either use it or document technical aspects even if their default orientation is not focused on CS or IT. The natural path followed by this service is to assist the students with their academic inquiries in order to make easier for them the understanding of problems met later in real production environments. I often achieve this goal also by offering them a “backward” view, starting from practice and highlighting the theoretical concepts and problems which represent the core models similar with those provided in school. The two visions are complementary and identify the shortest path to a solid understanding. I can sustain this assertion from practical positions held in time as System Administrator, Network Administrator, Software Engineer, System Analyst and various levels of IT Support Engineer.
